Use the WebPortal without creating an account to:
Click the Find Tickets link in the upper left corner of the page to search for a specific request by number or follow the direct link from your email confirmation. (Note: If you receive a “request not found” error from the confirmation link you may need to clear your browser cache, log out, or try to search from a different browser.)
Create an account in order to:
Click the Create Account link at the top right of the portal page (HERE) to create an account. Once you have activated your account from the link in the confirmation email you will receive, you can then click the Log In link to begin using the advanced Web Portal features.

Easily Submit a Ticket:
As easy as logging in and pressing the “Enter Ticket” link in the upper left-hand corner and entering the appropriate location data.
Easily Renew/Update Locate Requests:
As easy as logging in and pressing the “Find Ticket” link in the upper left-hand corner and entering the Ticket Number then Search. Verify the ticket, then click on the update tab and then make any edits necessary.

The use of the Positive Response System will improve communication between member utility companies, locators, and excavators. Increasing safety and reducing the number of unnecessary 2nd notice requests.
Alabama 811’s online WebPortal ticket entry program has expanded the way excavators are able to submit notification of their pending excavation activity; by allowing users to bypass a phone call and submit their excavation site information directly to Alabama 811 and/or our utility members by simply filling out a locate request form via the WebPortal.
Training classes are FREE and take about 30-45 minutes to complete.

To schedule an online training class; please select a day and time for the class you wish to attend, then fill out the user information section. Once your form is received, we will send you a link to the webinar. *All class times are Central Standard Time.

Users are given a 30-day window to successfully complete the training.
